About the duo
Two distinct musical voices. One cohesive live show.
Sean Ashe and Matt Hopper bring different backgrounds to the same goal: delivering strong songs with strong feel. Sean brings melodic, modern guitar voice, production-minded detail, and polished musical direction. Matt brings seasoned songcraft, classic-rock and Americana instincts, and years of road-tested stage presence. Together, they create a warm, guitar-driven set built around shared vocals, tasteful playing, and arrangements that feel fresh, musical, and easy to connect with.

Sean Ashe is a melodic, forward-thinking guitarist, composer, producer, educator, and live sound engineer whose original music leans cinematic, expressive, and modern.
Matt Hopper
Matt Hopper brings seasoned songwriting, classic-rock grit, Americana instincts, and deep live-music experience to the duo.

What types of events do you play?
Weddings, rehearsal dinners, private parties, corporate gatherings, patios, restaurants, tasting rooms, resort events, and destination celebrations across Northern California.
Can you provide your own sound?
Yes. The duo can arrive with a self-contained sound setup for many small-to-mid-size events. Larger rooms or production-heavy events can be coordinated with the venue or production team.
How long can you perform?
Typical formats are up to three 45-minute sets or two 60-minute sets, with timing adjusted around the event flow when possible.
Do you perform originals as well as covers?
Yes. The set is built around familiar covers and duo arrangements, with select Sean Ashe originals available where they fit the room.
Are you available outside Sacramento?
Yes. The duo is available for Northern California events, including Napa, Tahoe, Bay Area-adjacent gatherings, and destination-style weekends.
What do you need from the venue?
A reasonably level performance area, safe access to power, and a clear plan for load-in, timing, and weather protection for outdoor events.
Can we watch videos or request a song list?
Yes. The site includes a live-video area and repertoire section, and you can ask for a current EPK or set-list PDF when you inquire.
