The bio
Ashe / Hopper
Ashe / Hopper is Sean Ashe and Matt Hopper, two Sacramento guitarists and singers with separate catalogs behind them. They trade guitar parts, split the vocals, and play familiar covers alongside a few originals. The smallest show is the two of them. Drums, bass, or a guest musician can join for larger events.
Sean Ashe
Guitarist, composer, producer, educator, and live-sound engineer. Sean's catalog includes four solo releases and more than two million streams. In Ashe / Hopper he plays guitar, sings, and handles much of the arrangement and production detail.
Matt Hopper
Songwriter, singer, guitarist, and longtime bandleader. Matt has made records and toured with his own songs for years. His side of the set pulls from rock, folk, blues, Americana, and pop.

Requirements change with the lineup and venue. We confirm the details before the show, but these are the usual starting points.
